Founders Story

embodyBLK was founded by Andrew Smith, an Atlanta-based entrepreneur with a passion for building brands that inspire confidence, ownership, and generational growth.

With a professional background rooted in hospitality and leadership, Andrew spent years creating elevated experiences for others—while developing a deeper vision for something of his own. He recognized a gap in the market: a need for a brand that didn’t just represent style, but truly reflected identity, purpose, and self-worth within the Black community.

What started as an idea evolved into embodyBLK—a brand built on intention, authenticity, and the belief that representation matters. Andrew’s vision extends beyond fashion; he is committed to creating a platform that empowers others to think bigger, move with purpose, and build lasting impact within their communities.
